5 Steps to Get Started with HeyGen in Adobe Express
Follow these quick steps to create your first avatar video:
- Launch Adobe Express & Search for HeyGen
Open Adobe Express. In the main homepage search bar, type HeyGen. Open the HeyGen app extension from the search results to get started. - Navigate to Avatar Creation
Inside the HeyGen side panel on the left, click the Avatar tab, then select Create New Avatar. - Choose Your Generation Method
Pick how you want to build your avatar:- Photo Avatar / Clone: Upload a clear photo of a real person to turn them into a speaking avatar.
- AI Generative Avatar: Write a short prompt describing a character to create a custom avatar from scratch.
- Generate Initial Presentation Content
Head to the Home tab in HeyGen. Type a prompt or outline with your presentation ideas into the input box and submit it to generate your video recording. - Refine Your Script and Presentation
Open the editor once your video is generated. Tweak the script line-by-line so the words, tone, and overall message fit your project before finalizing.
