Employee Spotlight: Mark Haire
With heartfelt appreciation and warm wishes, we announce the upcoming retirement of Mark Haire, OneIT Financial Systems Security Administrator & Technology Support Technician, effective January 1, 2026. Mark concludes an impressive career spanning over 27 years at UNC Charlotte.
Throughout his tenure, Mark has worn many hats and made a lasting impact across campus. For the past seven years, he’s been an integral member of the Financial Systems Support team—managing Banner security, resolving technical challenges, and serving as a trusted resource for colleagues. His calm demeanor, dependable nature, and signature good humor have made him a beloved presence in the workplace.
As Mark embarks on this exciting new chapter, we extend our deepest thanks for his outstanding service and dedication. Please join us in celebrating his legacy and wishing Mark and his wife, Nicole, a joyful and fulfilling retirement.
