This fall, UNC Charlotte has been replacing Perceptive Content with Softdocs (Etrieve). This update makes campus workflows simpler, fully digital, and more accessible.
The migration is happening in five phases with the fourth phase being annotations. This migration will add annotations on the already migrated documents . This phase will take place Mon., Oct. 12, 2026, 9:00 a.m.- Fri., Oct. 23, 2026, 11:59 p.m.
Key Timeline Dates for Phase 4 Annotations
- Mon., Oct. 12 (9:00 a.m.) – Fri., Oct. 23, 2026 (11:59 p.m.): Migration of annotations from Perceptive Content to Softdocs . There is no needed freeze or user impact expected.
- Sat., Oct. 24 2026: All historical annotations will be added to previously migrated documents.
Training & Support
There will be no specialized support for this migration but Softdocs users are welcome to attend any Softdoc Open Swim.
