Zoom is redesigning the web portal experience to be a more unified productivity workspace. The web portal design will align with the Zoom desktop client to create consistency. The option for users to try out the new web design will be released to campus on Monday, June 8, 2026.
On June 8, a “Try new experience” toggle will appear (see screenshot below) at the top of the web portal. Users will have the option to try out the new web experience or return to the classic experience. At a future date, the new web experience will be the only option. That date will be communicated soon.
When using the new web experience you’ll notice:
- Redesigned web home experience
- Universal header
- Simplified navigation
- Product waffle menu
- New Profile menu
