OneIT Executive Team Updates: Jan. 2026

Starting January 1, 2026, we’re taking meaningful steps to strengthen OneIT and prepare for the future. Updating our Executive Team responsibilities will help us innovate, collaborate, and deliver technology services that support the university’s mission in powerful new ways.
Beth Rugg – Chief Workplace AI Officer
Beth will lead a university-wide initiative to expand AI literacy and fluency across our community. This isn’t just about adopting new tools; it’s about transforming how we work. Her efforts will empower teams to use AI confidently and responsibly, helping improve efficiency, creativity, and decision-making across the university.
Katie Kelley – Chief Data Governance Officer
Katie will advance our enterprise-wide data governance strategy, an essential foundation for a leading research institution. By shaping strong policies and frameworks, she’ll ensure our data is secure, compliant, and ready to fuel innovation, discovery, and academic excellence.
Jesse Beauman – Chief Technology Officer
Jesse will define OneIT’s technical vision, reduce technical debt, and align our technology investments with the university’s long-term priorities. This unified approach will keep our systems resilient and future-ready, enabling us to deliver exceptional service and support.
