Mandatory IT Security Training 2025
Beginning Tuesday, September 16, 2025, all university employees (including full-time, part-time, and student staff) are required to complete the annual IT Security Training.
Deadline: Friday, October 17, 2025
What is IT Security Training?
IT Security Training is designed to raise awareness about information security, good information security practices, and related university IT policies.
How long will it take to complete?
The training takes approximately 15 minutes and consists of several modules, each lasting between 1 to 5 minutes. You can view the videos individually as your schedule permits, and closed captioning is available.
Do I have to take this training?
Yes, this training is mandatory for all university employees (including full-time, part-time, and student staff). Even if you have already completed it this year, you are required to take it again.
Note to supervisors of student workers: Please make sure you let your student workers know that they must also take the IT Security Training (even if they’ve already taken it this year).
