UNC Charlotte is offering faculty, staff, and students access to CAISY, a cutting-edge AI simulator designed to enhance communication and interpersonal skills. CAISY provides a safe, interactive environment to practice navigating real-world workplace scenarios.

This innovative platform allows users to hone crucial skills like navigating challenging conversations, providing constructive feedback, and resolving conflicts. CAISY simulates realistic workplace situations and offers personalized feedback, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. This hands-on approach prepares individuals for success in today’s dynamic work environment.

Please note: these simulations are not customized to UNC Charlotte and may not reflect our policies but can still provide valuable experiential learning scenarios. 

How to Access CAISY:

1. Visit my.charlotte.edu.
2. Select the Learning & Development Portal.
3. Search “CAISY.”
4. Browse the available AI simulator scenarios and choose one that interests you. Topics include: Running Effective Meetings, Communicating with Stakeholders When Issues Arise, Strategic Thinking , Irate Customers, Managing Multiple Priorities and your Time Effectively, among others.

How CAISY Works:

1. Select a topic, such as “Setting Professional Boundaries with Peers.”
2. After launching the simulation, review the brief provided by the AI Coach.
3. Type your responses in the chat window, detailing how you would handle the scenario.
4. Upon completion, you’ll receive feedback highlighting your demonstrated strengths and areas for potential development.
