Starting Thursday, January 9, 2025 Google NotebookLM will be available for faculty, staff, and students. NotebookLM is Google’s AI-driven note taking, study guide tool, built on Google Gemini. 

With Google NotebookLM you can:

  • Upload PDFs, websites, YouTube videos, audio files, Google Docs, or Google Slides to have NotebookLM summarize them 
  • Ask questions to have NotebookLM make connections between topics
  • Use the Audio Overview feature to create an audio podcast overview of the uploaded materials
    • Instant Audio: Catch the key takeaways of this article in a 4-minute podcast generated by NotebookLM. Tune in now! 

Logging In

You can access NotebookLM at https://notebooklm.google.com (Note: Please ensure you are logged into Google using your @charlotte.edu account to access the version provided by the University)
