What is Zoom AI Companion?
Zoom AI Companion is an AI-based digital assistant that delivers real-time capabilities, functionality, and assistance to help users improve their productivity and user experience when using Zoom. Zoom AI companion is available in Zoom Meetings, in Zoom Whiteboard, and Zoom Phone.
What actions are needed?
- Update Zoom: Make sure you’re using the latest version of the Zoom desktop client.
- Review Zoom AI Companion Settings: Go to the Zoom portal web settings and look for the AI Companion section. Review and modify settings as needed.
- Read the Standard for Zoom AI Companion to learn how to appropriately use these tools while maintaining data security and privacy.
- Try It Out: Learn about and try out all the features and how they can assist you during your team meetings.
- Even if you’re not a frequent meeting host, try using the tools with a friend or colleague.
- When using Zoom AI Companion, prioritize data, data privacy, and security. Remember that recordings and summaries generated may be subject to the North Carolina Public Records Act. Think about the Guidelines for Data Handling and make informed decisions. Hosts should thoroughly review meeting summaries for accuracy before sharing them with attendees.
