In one sentence – what does your job entail?

Provide and maintain continuous operational facilities support for our OneIT data rooms to include inventory, surplus and security operations.

How many years have you been with OneIT?

31 years and 4 months.

What’s the best advice you can give the next person taking your position?

Pay attention to details.

What are you most looking forward to post-retirement?

It may sound corny, but I am looking forward to taking each day as a new challenge and living life to the fullest.

What will you miss most about your job?

The networking systems of contacts that I have nurtured throughout my years on campus.

What was one of your biggest accomplishments while working here that you are most proud of?

My current role. I was given the opportunity to create a new job description to support the Infrastructure team. I was given full support and I am very proud of the importance the role plays to ensure the daily operation of the teams.

If you could travel anywhere in the world (for free) where would you go and why?

I hope to do a lot of traveling. Alaska is up next – hoping to get some whale watching in and a peek at the Northern Lights.
