New OneIT Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enterprise Applications

Dr. Katie Kelley will become the new Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enterprise Applications. Dr. Kelley has a Doctor of Education (EdD), Higher Education Leadership from Manhattanville College, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Hartford. Fun fact: Katie also competed as a professional basketball player for KuSG in Germany.

As a current Executive Director with Ellucian – Managed Services, onsite at Manhattanville College, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to UNC Charlotte. She began her career at the University of Maryland Global Campus in Abu Dhabi as the project manager for a new education training center. Since then, she has performed a variety of roles including Business Analyst and Director of Operations. She has expertise in business process optimization, ERP governance, data governance and digital transformation.

Katie has a successful track record of removing tech barriers and spearheading the completion of large projects involving significant change to process and technology. She is a successful collaborator and gifted communicator who encourages stakeholder engagement.

The opportunity to work at a large and diverse institution where she could influence important change drew her to UNC Charlotte. Katie will start in mid-July and will be leading the Enterprise Applications teams including Banner, Application Infrastructure, Content Services, Data & Analytics, Application Development and Salesforce.
