Technology Support Analyst
In one sentence – what does your job entail?
My job is providing hardware and software support for the UNC Charlotte, specifically working with the Engineering department in their mosaic transition.
What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?
My only advice is to be adaptable. Technology is always changing and you will need to adapt to the new technologies to perform your job successfully.
What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
Since I was a child, I have always been interested in technology. When I arrived at college and started my job as a student support technician, I discovered that my knack for technology could be utilized for a career in a technical field.
What is something that might surprise us about you?
I have a BFA in Graphic Design.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
When I obtained my CCNA certificate in August of 2023.
What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
Indoor: Video Games and learning new cooking techniques. Outdoor: Hiking and swimming.
When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
I like to research my next topic of interest. For example, since I finished my CCNA, now I am looking at PowerShell and Azure Active Directory fundamentals. A small amount of research per day adds up over time and keeps me growing towards my goal.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn more about server administration and application management.
