Executive Director of IT for Business Affairs Support

Heather began at UNC Charlotte in 1994 working for Financial Services. She has held various roles within Financial Services for which she gained key functional knowledge for the financial and human resources operations of the University. She has been the Director of Financial Systems Support for over 20 years, leading multiple system implementations for Financial Services and Human Resources including Banner Finance and Kronos. Over the course of this time she has worked with Financial Services and Human Resources leaders on technology planning and priorities. Most recently Heather was appointed Interim Executive Director of IT for Business Affairs Support in July 2022. Since then, she has successfully promoted the needs of Business Affairs and worked closely with PPMO on redesigning the IT governance process.

Effective April 3, 2023, Heather will become the new Executive Director of IT for Business Affairs Support. Heather looks forward to supporting the Business Affairs unit-specific technology teams, enhancing collaboration between the division and OneIT, and assisting Business Affairs leaders with their long-term technology planning.
