OneIT Project Update: Drupal to WordPress Migration

What:

OneIT Web Services will be migrating campus Drupal 7 websites in the Central Web Service to WordPress. Majority of the changes will be on the backend to improve the overall user experience for site managers and subject matter experts. Site managers will have the opportunity to review their sites before it is published.

Why:

Fall 2023 Drupal 7 will reach the end of life. WordPress was chosen because it is easier to use and will provide additional flexibility for site managers.

When:

This migration will take place now throughout the Fall 2023. Site managers have received an email with a timeline and further instructions.
