In one sentence – what does your job entail?

Managing the CRM system (Slate) for Undergraduate Admissions, and providing software development assistance as it pertains to related systems.

What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

I love Higher Education and the role that the University plays in addressing our nation’s biggest issues, and the investment in the future of our students.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?

You’re not stuck in whatever major/field/discipline you start your career in or study. Experience new things, try out different internships, and remember that if a job isn’t the right fit, you WILL find the right one.

What is something that might surprise us about you?

I studied glaciers in Iceland for a study abroad semester as part of a geomorphology internship.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

I’m proud to have served in the United States Army.

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?

I really enjoy doing landscaping/yard work.

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

Playing computer games or hanging out with my wife, Sophia.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I wish my Spanish was better, as in actually becoming fluent.
