Legal Symposium Presentation on AI

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, some members of the AI Steering Committee presented at the Legal Symposium. At this event they discussed how UNC Charlotte is embracing AI in teaching, learning, research, and the workplace. Some key areas of focus include AI literacy, ethics, responsible use, and preparing students for an AI-powered workforce.

Faculty are encouraged to explore AI tools and incorporate them into their teaching, while researchers are utilizing AI in various disciplines. The university provides guidelines and resources to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI, including data privacy and intellectual property considerations.
