UNC Charlotte is excited to announce a new milestone. Our university has been officially recognized as a Grow with Google School. We have also joined the AI for Education Accelerator as a lead member.

This partnership isn’t just a title, it comes with real benefits. UNC Charlotte faculty and staff can now qualify for official Google AI Certificates.
These courses are designed to help you:
- Understand how AI works in a simple way.
- Find new tools to help with your daily work.
- Stay ahead of the curve in higher education technology.
How to Enroll for Google Certificates
We want to provide as many people as possible with the opportunity to grow their skills, but space is limited, and enrollment is first-come, first-served. If you are interested in earning a Google AI Certificate, please follow these steps:
- Visit the UNC Charlotte Coursera Google AI Certification and Courses page.
- Scroll down, and you will be able to see “Collections selected by UNC Charlotte”, which are AI courses selected by UNC Charlotte. You will be able to learn more about courses such as Google AI Essentials Specialization, Google Prompting Essentials, Google AI Professional Certificate, and more.
- To enroll in one of the courses, follow the steps in this FAQ.
Please note: If you are inactive for 30 days after enrolling in a course, you will be unenrolled from the course to make room for another learner. If you encounter any issues enrolling, please contact the OneIT Service Desk.
