Eduroam wireless network update: July 2024

On Sunday, July 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Eduroam wireless network authentication will be updated to begin to only accept @charlotte.edu credentials and no longer accept @uncc.edu credentials. This change impacts any device that connects to Eduroam, including laptops, phones, and tablets. There may be brief and intermittent outages while this change is being made.

What you may need to do:

1) You may be prompted to accept a new certificate; If so, click TRUST. OR 

2) You may need to Forget the network and log back in; Follow the instructions in this FAQ

NOTE:  When on the UNC Charlotte campus, you can enter either your NinerNET username or your full username@charlotte.edu as your eduroam username.When you are at another institution, you must use your full username@charlotte.edu as your eduroam username; do not use your uncc.edu email address. FAQ

If you don’t do this, you won’t be able to use Eduroam.

When you are at another institution

You must use your full username@charlotte.edu as your eduroam username.
