Job Title

Academic Technology Support Analyst

In one sentence – what does your job entail?

Helping people, solving puzzles, and teaching!

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?

Use your tuition waivers – don’t wait – just do it! Feel free to contact me if you have questions.

What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

My mom let me watch movies featuring *academic professors* when I was only 3-years old (Sphinx, 1981, Raiders of the Lost Ark, 1981), and my elementary school librarian designated me the media specialist for all the teachers (think projectors strapped to metal carts with filmstrip reels in canisters).

What is something that might surprise us about you?

I performed as “Magenta” in the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Silver Screen Cafe on Independence Blvd for a few months in the 90s. I am still the “Hostess with the mostest.”

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

My daughter’s comprehensive vocabulary, having my photography shown in an exhibition in Bulgaria, and earning my doctorate in educational leadership.

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?

Curled in bed with a book or swimming in the ocean (preferably the Gulf of Mexico).

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

Walking outdoors while listening to a book or music.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Build a functioning, safe, and affordable teleport for the masses. They would be everywhere like phone booths used to be! 25 cents, and I’m having dinner in Thailand!

Are you Team Apple or Team Android?

Team Apple.
