gmail flow testing

OneIT will test changes to Gmail spam filtering on Friday, August 11, from 7-9 p.m. During the testing window, users may see spam being delivered to the spam folder and warning messages in the headers. These changes are temporary and will only happen during the testing window. 

OneIT is investigating the best way to handle spam. Since May ’23, spam has been handled differently with messages being tagged and delivered to the inbox, but this has caused some user confusion. Depending on the outcome of the test, permanent changes may be made at a future date. Please contact the OneIT Service Desk with questions or concerns.
